
Carol Ann Casey
CA Compliance Limited was set up in 2011 by Carol Ann Casey to satisfy a particular niche in HR risk management and compliance advisory services. We also assist our clients with adjudicative complaints management and investigations.
The company applies employment law into resilient HR best practices that will support an organisation’s business model (see Services).
Carol Ann Casey was formerly known from CA Consulting Limited set up in 1999, which included CA Training, CA Employment and CA Careers. Now successfully rebranded as CA Compliance Limited, our primary driving force comes in the form of our founder, Carol Ann Casey.
Carol Ann has qualifications in human resources, board direction, business, management, law, ombudsman complaint handling, regulation with a master’s degree in business studies (human resource strategies).
She became one of the youngest fellows of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, is an ambassador of the Dublin Chamber of Commerce, a national council member of the Small Firms Association and a lay member of the Certified Public Accountants’ Investigation Committee. Carol Ann is also on the general committee of Grange Golf Club.
She is also a member of many Irish business associations, including the Institute of Directors and the Financial Times Non-executive Directors’ Club. She is a past president of Network Dublin and Engineers Toastmasters, and a past board member of Irish Blind Sports.
Carol Ann has written extensively for newspapers, journals and magazines, and contributed to numerous radio programmes, conferences and seminars, both in Ireland and abroad.
Separately, Carol Ann is also the Independent Adjudicator of the Law Society of Ireland where her role (a) ensures that complaints about the conduct of a solicitor are dealt with fairly and impartially by the Law Society; (b) reviews complaints about any decision by the Law Society concerning an application for a grant from the Law Society’s Compensation Fund; (c) recommends any changes in the Law Society’s complaints procedures which are, in her opinion, necessary to maintain the highest standards, and (d) she writes an Annual Report that goes to the Minister for Justice, Equality and Defence.
